I can be a little bit funny about mixing my cuisines sometimes. I won’t serve naan with a Thai curry (much to my father’s annoyance) or put cheese on my fried rice (to everyone’s relief).
So on the occasions that I find a recipe that I love across multiple cuisines like this yoghurt sauce and my green rice, I am over the moon! I probably whip up a version of this sauce once or twice a week. As a minimum.
It always makes an appearance at barbecues. It’s ideal with Grilled Courgettes and a Couscous Salad. And I always serve some with a curry like my Chicken & Butternut Korma. The yoghurt is the perfect balance to the rich spiced sauce.

The perfect cooling accompaniment to so many meals. Yogurt sauces are always the most popular when we go to Indian restaurants so a make at home version is great.
